"Dr. Amin has been my ophthalmologist for over ten years. The staff is professional, informed and answers any questions. There is plenty of time for each patient for a thorough evaluation, discussion about any issues or questions that arise during the exam. A note about their eyewear: Truly the best options available from affordable frames to high-end frames and everything in-between. When you order your lenses through Advanced Vision, the prescription will be done correctly (I have a difficult prescription that requires precise lenses). Yes, it may take longer than a 24 hour turnaround location, but absolutely worth having them done through their office."

Clear communication is something you don't get at other vision care places but Dr Hardy is on it. They don't overprice contact lenses either! After 9 months of many different doctors and test I was sent to Dr Amin and what a Blessing. Dr Amin and her group are very professional and on time. Dr Amin completely answered all questions that we have about my condition and questions about future prognoses. I have been amazed by all the different testing equipment that she and her staff use to tell me my condition. "There are not enough good things I can say about the doctors, therapists and staff here. In 2019 I was in an auto accident that forced my eyes out of place. I was damn near ready to give up on life because there was no quality left. Dr. Hardy was able to diagnose my exact injuries and I was in vision rehab for it the very next day. Dr. Amin is one of the smartest, most incredible doctors. She goes above and beyond to help people. Her dedication and insight is ultimately the reason I can see again. Advance Vision immediately scheduled an appointment for me to come in to show how I was having the problem. Dr. Hardy and the vision tech ascertained that an adjustment had to be made so I would realize proper vision of objects, both near and far. I am extremely happy with my eyesight now. "Tried this place for the first time after having left my previous optometrist due to switching insurance providers and I already love it here after the first visit! The appointment started quickly despite being a new patient (pretty much 5 mins after walking in). Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable! I liked learning about my eye along with my options for glasses covered under insurance (it can be a lot to remember!). Fortunately, everything was simplified and I left with new glasses! They carry a lot of brand name glasses from Luxottica (Ray-Ban, Oakley, etc.), so there is a lot of variety to choose from at an excellent price (you can try on as many as you want, recommendations are even provided if it becomes hard to pick a pair or two (it will be)). All in all, I would highly recommend Advanced Vision and Achievement Center to be your optometrist for your visual needs!"

Let me tell you, when I read all the previous reviews on Dr. Amin and how great she was, I knew she was the one I wanted to check my eyes. I loved that you could make the appointment on Yelp! I searched for her available times matching my available times and I had to wait about 2 weeks for an appointment, but as this was just a check up, it was worth the wait! After I made the appointment online, I did get a call from the office verifying my appointment time and insurance.I asked if my eyes would be dilated at the appointment because if they were, then I would need to find someone to drive me and take me home because I know one shouldn't necessarily drive with dilated eyes. The office staff informed me that Dr. Amin has a test in her office that sees the whole eye without dilation, but it does cost $39 and is not covered by insurance. In more ways than one, this was worth it as it gave a very complete comprehensive picture of my eyes and also was something that could be attached to my records to be viewed on future visits. The day before the visit I got a text confirming the time of the visit and if I didn't cancel before 24 hours, I would be charged a $25 fee, which is reasonable in my opinion. "I go every year for an eye exam and this place is pretty awesome! The staff is super friendly and they go over each part of the exam with you. I love that I don’t have to get my eyes dilated because they have the machine that can take a picture of the inside of the eye. The doctor was super friendly and went over all parts of my eye health with me. The selection is pretty good and they carry mostly high end glasses that are affordable with good insurance. The frames they carry are also very current, which is great if you’re wanting a new look. When I was reluctant on my selections, they printed off a copy of my eye exam so I could check out other places around the area. Of course, I came back an hour later."

"Dr Amin is amazing! She is very personable and knowledgeable. Last optometrist I saw said that I needed progressive lenses but Dr Amin changed my prescription which works better for reading. A bit of advice, contact lenses are expensive there so go elsewhere after your fitting to get more contact lenses."

Dr. Amin is very thorough and friendly. I also like that they are always updating their technology, making eye exams much less stressful for my children!"
"Dr Amin has without question been the best eye doctor. She is knowledgable and communicates well. The staff is very friendly and professional. I noticed somebody posted a negative comment about extra tests not being covered by insurance. From my experience, there were optional tests offered too - but the the staff was very up-front and proactive about explaining what information the tests will provide, costs, and insurance implications. The choice was mine. It was nice to have a choice! Overall, you will not be disappointed. The quality and service of the doctors and staff is outstanding. Highly Recommend!"

"My husband booked an appointment here after coordinating with our insurance. He has issues with getting his contacts to fit correctly and needed a new specialist. I needed reading glasses, as, alas, I’m getting older. They were about an hour from our house but worth it. Their waiting room is large and clean, and had toys to keep my 3 year old happy. We didn’t have to wait long to see the doctor, about 10 minutes, and the office staff was friendly. The doctor herself was sociable, knew her stuff, and didn’t mind that I had two noisy kids with me during our appointments. I was able to choose my frames right there after my exam, and they took about a week to come in. My husband needed his contact rx tweaked a bit after wearing them for a few weeks, and they got him in right away and adjusted the prescription. This office is definitely out of our way, but I won’t hesitate to drive back out for future eye care needs."

"This was, by far, the best visit I've had to any kind of doctor. Brooke, the assistant who met me in the front office and walked me through all of the preliminary stuff, was beyond nice and very helpful. Dr. Amin was very personable and made sure the entire experience was friendly and comfortable. There was no pressure from anyone to upgrade my purchase, or sell me on extra items. Dr. Amin sat with me and discussed what would be best based on my situation. The result was not the more expensive option. It cost just a little more than some other places, but you get what you pay for. I would recommend this place to everyone, family or adult."

The service and the frame selection is phenomenal. Dr. Amin was very personable and actually listened to me during my visit. It broke my heart ,due to a change in employers and insurance, that I couldn't return. I suffered my yearly exams at Eyemasters. *shiver at the memory, review of THAT place to come* I've discovered that my new plan covers visits to her clinic and I am ecstatic!"
