Moreover, she provides cutting-edge treatments to enhance visual and cognitive functions for individuals, regardless of age, who have undergone traumatic brain injuries or strokes.
Dr. Amin completed her bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in psychology from Indiana University in Bloomington, and she was honored on the dean's list. She went on to achieve her doctorate in optometry from the University of Missouri School of Optometry in St. Louis.
Throughout her career, Dr. Amin has been distinguished with awards in the areas of contact lenses and vision therapies. Beyond her active membership in the Arizona Optometric Association, she has also taken on a leadership role as its president. In 2008, her contributions were acknowledged when she was named Young Optometrist of the Year.
Driven by the belief that individuals worldwide deserve top-tier vision care, Dr. Amin began her volunteer journey in 1997. She ventured to El Salvador to offer optometric services and eyewear to numerous patients. She has also chaired the Diabetic Expo Committee and Walk for Diabetes, offered her services at the Banner Concussion Center, and annually conducts complimentary eye examinations for Phoenix's Special Olympics athletes.
In her spare time, Dr. Amin cherishes moments with her husband and their two sons. Together, they enjoy traveling, running, and playing basketball, among other sports.
