Hailing from Mississippi, Dr. Hardy achieved her Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and molecular biology from Mississippi State University, graduating cum laude. Later, she accomplished her doctorate in optometry with honors from Arizona College of Optometry in Glendale.
Dr. Hardy is an esteemed member of both the Arizona and American Optometric Associations. Her community engagement includes volunteering at local eye-screening events, like the Special Olympics, ACT Kids Fair, HopeFest for Phoenix's underserved families, and StandDown for veterans.
A standout accomplishment for Dr. Hardy was her involvement in an overseas optometric mission to Grenada in the West Indies. Collaborating with the Rotary Club and VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services for Humanity), the medical team conducted over 1,500 eye exams and handed out more than 1,000 pairs of glasses over a span of four days.
Now, Dr. Hardy lives in Phoenix with her husband and children. An avid sports enthusiast, she continues to root for the Mississippi State University Bulldogs.
I really like my doctor Mary. She's personable and explains things well. I feel like they had some better designer stuff last visit but I still left with glasses I was happy with.
